EasyTouch RV™ Thermostat Wire Harness - Coleman 354 and 355 models


Some RV manufacturers deviated from the original design of Coleman (AirXcel/RVProducts/RVP) air conditioners that prescribed molex connectors as pictured. In the altered wiring, the air conditioner connecting wires leading from the wall to the thermostat were connected by crimps or wire nuts (direct wired). If yours is direct wired this way to the thermostat (without connectors), you will need our simple adapter to complete your installation of the EasyTouch RV WiFi thermostat.

How to check before your purchase? Remove your thermostat from the wall to see if your wires in the wall have a similar connector. If none are found, our engineers have designed what you need to make our WiFi thermostat work for you: our 354/355 Wire Harness pigtail assembly (HAR-354-355).

The wire harness can be spliced easily to your existing wall wires. Just Google: HOW TO SPLICE WIRES to find various approaches like the simple wire nut method.

Follow one of our wiring guides from the EasyTouch RV 355 Operating Manual found at (Table 1 (p. 4) or Table 5 (p. 15)) or in the EasyTouch RV 354 Operating Manual found at. (Table 1 (p. 4) or Table 5 (p. 15)).

If yours is the EASYTOUCH RV 354 thermostat, use the PURPLE WIRE too. If yours is the EASYTOUCH RV 355 thermostat, IGNORE THE PURPLE WIRE in the center as it is not needed in the 355.

Returns & Warranty:

If an item is new, unused and in the original packaging, we do accept returns up to 30 days from the original invoice date, less a 10% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for any shipping/freight charges incurred. If the original packaging is no longer available, additional fees may apply.

 

Manufacturers Defects:

If an item has been installed or used, without being installed by Suite Wheels RV, and is found to be a manufacturer’s defect, new parts will be supplied within 90 days of original invoice. The customer is responsible for any shipping/freight charges incurred. Replacement parts and shipping will be charged to the customer account until validation of defect from the OEM. Upon validation of defect the customer will be credited with a full refund of the replacement parts.
